Fun waves

Yesterday Kelly was a little sick but today she is feeling a lot better!

Went surfing with da Moke this afternoon.

The waves were good this morning!

Its early friday morning and the waves look 3ft. Not even close as big as they forecasted. Maybe better when the tide comes up. Light winds now.

New board and gift

Got all these gifts from Arden who recently went on his first international trip. Thanks Arden! Japan next year!!!

Got a new shortboard from Drift Surf and Brice! Stoked on the way the board came out!! Perfect for this weeks south swell!!

Been busy

Just came home on Monday and I've been busy everyday since. My good friends from Japan came on their Honeymoon so I was taking care of them everyday. On the last day we went to W&M and it was Ono.

In Japan I got this cool Fa9 pin.

3rd place

Ended up getting 3rd place in the ASP contest at Taito. It's not a bad result so I'm ok with it. But I'm finally going home today!!
Stoked!! Looks like plenty of South Swells next week!!! Even more Stoked!!! Time to surf!!!

Surf Report

Shonan is once again flat! But in Japan it's still considered rideable. Hahha!

Here is what I wake up to every morning. Flatness!! It's been like this everyday so far that I've been here in Japan except for 1 day. Today I actually tried to go surf but after 10 min I was over it. I know everybody in Hawaii must be grumbling about the small waves there but think again...

Oh ya, forgot to tell you that this picture is taken 1 mile down the beach from where I surf so it's uncrowded. The place where I surfed today had 100 guys out.

Here is what it's like in Japan. Somehow I managed to get my hand out and take a shot! After this shot I dropped my camera but it didn't hit the ground cause all these people were smashing me.

Look at how many people there is at the train station!!! CRAZY!!
