South Shore!

It's 2 in the morning here in Japan and we are on a 8 hour road trip heading south. For some reason I woke up so I decided to check the South Shore cam and this is what I see... I can't believe I am on the road right now doing nothing and the waves are firing! Looks a little choppy but guarantee this evening is going to be good and packed!

Anyways Catch some waves for me! Cause I won't be able to catch waves like that for another 3 weeks...

We went to go eat with everyone from a surfshop called Secret.
Ate some mean Gyutan which is Cow's tongue.

Ibaragi Video

Here is a short video of the last contest at Ibaragi. The waves were around 2 feet but super inconsistent. Check it out!

Sendai Day 1

The waves were 1 foot and pretty much a shorebreak wave. Surprisingly the water was super warm! More warm than Hawaii! Couldnt believe it!!

THe first place we went was super good!!! Only if the food came a little faster. I give it an 7.5 out of 10. We ate at a place called Kuro fune.

Flatness

Basically it's been like this everyday since I got here in Japan. I'm starting to go crazy! No more waves and it's over 100 degrees!!!
And the forecast dosen't look to good for this weekend's contest...

Lost in Semi's...

Ended up getting equal 5th in the contest. And I got 4th place in the Noseride contest.
The waves were real junk and I couldn't get a single decent wave in the semi's.
This video is my 2nd round heat. For the final day the waves were bigger in the morning and then it got smaller and then it got bigger after my semi's...

Japan

Stay down in Japan now and the waves are small. I landed in Narita airport and from there I went straight to Ibaragi to Camp.
Here is one of the bugs we found. It's called Kabutomushi.

Broken

Our washing machine broke today... It actually broke in the morning and I never knew about it and we started using it. Then all of a sudden after we put our clothes in, it started to make a weird noise so we stopped it. We had to wash all the clothes with water then squeeze all the water out of it. My hand is so tired now...

The waves was super fun this morning. Solid 2ft and no one out! Where was everyone?
