GOod Waves

Here is a pic of today's Dhead. Still has some size and really clean! Lately I've been surfing a lot so I have to start studying for my midterm tmrw! There bunch of swells on the way too! We might get a pretty good south swell starting around the 17th so don't over surf yourself now. More swells on the way!

Here is yesterdays Dhead. It was about 3 feet and not that crowded.

Tsunami warning in effect for hawaii as of 1pm. Im at dhead right now and it is a little onshore. Maybe 3ft on the sets and 15 guys out

The is what Kaito did to my first board that I ever shaped. Its all smashed! He wasn't wearing a leash at Mansions and it went all over the rocks! Bust the fin and everything.

Ala Moana

Surfed Concessions and straight outs today. The waves were solid 2 feet and fun. But it seems like it might be pretty small tmrw. But we might get some more swell from the SE on tuesday. Next week the winds should be light. Here are some videos from today.

Victoria Secret

I was cruising at Ala Moana Shoppin center today and I saw this super long line. I was wondering what it was and it was a line to get into Victoria Secret. The line went all the way to longs! Crazy! I guess nobody has anything to do. One little store opens and the whole island of Oahu is there! Haha!

By the way there was waves today in town! Solid 2ft and really fun! Too bad it was kind of crowded...

21st anniversary

I went to eat at Buca Di Beppo and it was ok. Not bad and the portions are huge! Don't go by yourself if you go there. Atleast bring 4 people. More the better!

Here was the waves yesterday. I heard the waves are a hair bigger today. Should have more waves coming in around friday. Hopefully its 3 feet.

Tsunami

Here is what happened in American Samoa today. Pretty scary stuff. I hope everybody is safe down there.
In Oahu we had a small tidal surge of 1.5 feet. We were lucky nothing big hit us.

Single Fin

I tried out my new single fin yesterday and it was pretty fun. I had to get used to the square nose and the edgeless board but in the end I started to get a hang of it. Check my Japanese blog for some videos.

First Swell of the Year

I headed down to the country today. The waves were solid 6-8ft with some bigger sets.
I ended up surfing Himalayas with only couple guys out. I had a really fun session with Mitsu till a freak set came in and I got caught inside. After getting pounded we called it a day. No matter how good of a session you're having you always seem to get pounded on the North Shore.

Surfed Concession today. It was 2 feet with nobody out. We brought out the digital camera and here is some of the pictures.

In the afternoon it was actually bigger so there was a little sign of the small south swell.

The waves were 1-2 ft on the sets at ala moana. Not that good but there was nobody out. Good fun if u have a longboard.

Mokes

Yesterday I surfed Mokes. The waves were solid 3 feet and perfect. Good to be home...

I went to go eat Yogurtland the other day and it was good! I took my friends from Japan there and they gave it a 10 out of 10.

I went to go eat at Gavin's house the other day and here is his son Riku riding me like a horse. I had to do this most of the time I was there. Good thing he's light.

Here is his other son Kai showing his art skills. He's only 6 years old and he can draw way better than me. Pretty soon he can start air-brushing my surfboards.

17 More Holidays?!

It seems like the Public Schools are going to have 17 more holidays due to the teachers 7.9% paycut. Less Pay = Less work for teachers = Less education for students = more time to surf! Hahaha. Too bad Im not in High school anymore.
