Hiking

Yesterday I went hiking up Makapuu trail and Koko head with Mika. The Makapuu trail was real nice with a good breeze at the top but Kokohead was hard like always. I also surfed with my friend Weston at Publics which was pretty good except it was real windy and a lot of back wash since it was high tide.
Today I surfed at Bowls for a little while till it got crowded. It was 2 feet on the sets and it was pretty fun. In the evening I went golf with my friends from 88tees at the Ewa course. It was my first time there and the course was pretty challenging. Also the ASP Ripcurl search contest is on right now so go check it out!

Guitar Hero

I have been playing some video games lately at night. My brother borrowed a game called Guitar Hero from his friend and its really fun. Also got some fans in our living room today.
The waves today were ok. It was about 3 feet on the sets but it was super inconsistent and the wrong direction for concessions. The evening was a little bit better with the low tide and it wasn't too crowded.

Yogurt Land

Today I went to Yogurt Land with my friend Mika. They have all kinds of flavors like Strawberry, healthbar (Not good), Peach, Pinneapple, and a lot more. They always try to change the flavors every couple days so you don't get sick of it. Also they have all kinds of toppings so you can put whatever you want. Yogurt Land is located right by UH where Volcanoe Joes used to be. Since its right by UH there are a lot of college students and its always crowded. If you're looking for a little snack go check it out!
Other than that, I also went surfing at D-head. In the morning it was 3 feet on the sets and lining up pretty good. In the afternoon it was like 2 feet and I ended up trying a new board. This board is completly different from what I usually ride because the foam is different and it is 100% hand shaped by Mitsu. The foam is called Ice 9 and its made out of sugar and other environment friendly material. So far, I 've been in Hawaii for like 4 days and the waves have been really fun. Good to be home!

Back Home (Stoked!)

Sorry I haven't update in a while. I was too busy surfing all day! Its been a while since I surfed waves bigger than ankle high. Today I went surfing at suicides around lunch time and it was super fun! It was solid 2 feet on the sets and only me and Kalei's Dad out. I tried a new eps board out there today and it worked really good. This is my first eps board I've ever rode and so far, i really like it. It's actually Mitsu personal board but it works really good so he's letting me hold on to it. Thanks Mitsu! In the afternoon I went surfing with my friend Mika at Diamondhead. The waves were again pretty fun and it wasn't crowded. I also got a new driver today from Mika's Papa Min san. Thank You so much! I was really looking for a driver because the driver I have sucks. I know atleast half the problem with my golf game is me, but it helps having good equipment too. Same with surfing... No matter how good you are if you dont have the right equipment its hard to get going. After being in Japan for 6 weeks, I've finally realized how special Hawaii is. So Stoked to be back Home!

Harajuku & Shibuya

I went to Harajuku and Shibuya the other day. We ended up looking around all the stores and tried on some funny stuff. I also ended up buying some super funny t-shirts. For dinner we ate at a super good sushi place. I don`t think there was a day that I didn`t eat some kind of sushi. The first picture is a picture of the legendary crosswalk of Shibuya. Can you find me?

Another typical day in Shonan

Everyday in Shonan is a day that everyone in Hawaii will say its flat. But according to the surf reports its ridable even with a shortboard. I have never heard the surf report in Japan say its flat and unrideable. Today I`m off to Shibuya and Harajuku. Should be fun!

Chiba

Today I went to Chiba to surf and play golf. We first surfed at Wada then headed towards the golf course. The waves at Wada was solid 2 feet and not that crowded so it was good. We went to a short course in Kamogawa. All par 3`s with one par 4. The coolest thing about the golf course is that you can play at night. They have lights for every hole so you can play till late at night. I ended up playing pretty well with exceptions to 2 holes and I scored a 40 for 9 holes. I hope theres no waves tommorrow because I am pretty tired.
